The Nevada Store opened in September 2007 and is located in the Moana West Shopping Center in Reno, Nevada. The Nevada Store proudly represents all things Nevada! We specialize in retail sales of Made In Nevada brand products, or in items that are concerned with, relevant to, or arose out of the Silver State.

We sell Made In Nevada brand products because we believe that many of our closest neighbors embody the integrity, resourcefulness, ingenuity, and ambition that have truly mad Nevada one of the greatest places to live. The Made In Nevada program is sponsored by the State of Nevada Commission on Economic Development.

The store has many one-of-a-kind items which can be purchased at the store and will not be sold on line, such as, collectibles, framed old Nevada maps, postcards, movie posters, and local art. Some of the Made In Nevada vendors are SierraSnowSoaps, Great Basin Sourdough Starter Company, Aztec Records, Bear Earth Products, Botcha Caloops, Las Vegas Sweets, Creative Arts Publishing, Davidson's Teas, Killer Salsa, Rocking & Rolling, and Tortilla's Inc.

Many of our items feature Nevada's Battle Born logo. The Battle Born official slogan reflects the fact that Nevada became a state in 1864, during the Civil War. Nevada is also known as The Silver State because of it's large silver mine industries. We have many items in the store with The Silver State printed on them.

Tee-shirts with embroidered Mountain Bluebird (the state bird) and Sagebrush (the state flower) can also be found at the store. The state song, Home Means Nevada, is printed on barn wood, while the University of Nevada Wolfpack logo can be found on many items in the store.

A little bit of Nevada trivia - Nevada is the only state in the union that celebrates its admission to statehood. The celebration takes place every year on October 31st in Carson City, the State Capitol.
